In order to assist patients with more urgent telephone calls, all Glossop GP practices will no longer be accepting medication requests over the telephone.
They say this will aid access to the practice and prevent ‘prescription request errors when verbal requests are made’.
The NHS has now introduced Patient Access – an online service which allows patient to use their practice’s service on their computer or smart phone.
