Buses

There are no local buses on Gamesley on Thursday or Friday – the only services running in Glossopdale are the 237 (nearest stops either Dinting Arches / Carpenters) running to Sunday times and the 61 also running to Sunday times.

It’s back to regular running on Saturday.

Trains

Service from/to Glossop should be running to the current timetable with bank holiday changes and engineering works in various other locations across the North West.

There are various works taking place at Manchester Victoria with services to/from Stalybridge affected.

Chemist/pharmacy

If you need a chemist/pharmacy on Thursday / Friday – the nearest one open is the one in Glossop Tesco’s, which is available from 9 am until 1 pm.

Jubilee Events

G52 are hosting a jubilee celebration on Winster Mews on Saturday 4th June from 10.30am until 2.30pm with face painting, cream tea, rodeo bull and music from across the decades.
